Going far beyond basic City services, the BID provides beautification initiatives, concierge patrols, intensive litter collection and economic development programs that help to provide a clean, attractive, and vibrant downtown environment. The DMDMC also works with the City and County of Mobile to support projects that revitalize the downtown area, encouraging new business development, investment, and tourism in the City.

CAP Safety Ambassadors are excited to welcome you to Birmingham’s City Center! As we patrol on foot, Segway’s and bikes, our visibility and attention often help to deter bad behavior and activities. We look for opportunities to help people and tidy up our district as we’re out and about.
