The Downtown Toledo Ambassadors work year-round to help create a clean, safe, and welcoming downtown for residents, businesses, employees, and visitors. Through ongoing beautification, hospitality, and public space maintenance, the Ambassadors help enhance the appearance and overall experience of downtown. Their work includes planting and maintaining seasonal flowers, watering planters, removing litter and graffiti, cleaning sidewalks and public spaces, providing directions and local recommendations, offering safety escorts, and working with property owners, businesses, and the Toledo Police Department to report suspicious activity and address safety concerns. Their visible presence helps create vibrant public spaces where people want to spend time, while fostering community pride and making a positive first impression.
