ALL IN: Growing Public Spaces Together

Where: Hyatt Regency Boston, One Avenue de Lafayette, Boston, MA 02111

When: March 30th – April 1st

Public spaces are evolving, and so are we. As Block by Block expands from a company known for elevating downtowns to one shaping all public spaces, our focus remains clear: connect people, strengthen communities, and create environments where everyone can thrive.

At Connect & Share, we come together to celebrate what makes our work meaningful: the people who steward these spaces every day. Managers play a vital role in this evolution — bridging community needs, operational excellence, and the vibrant experiences that define welcoming public spaces.

This year’s theme, All In: Growing Public Spaces Together, reflects our shared commitment to embracing new challenges, discovering new opportunities, and moving forward together. Over three days, we’ll learn, collaborate, recharge, and build the strategies that empower us to elevate every space we touch — downtowns, transit systems, campuses, parks, and beyond.

Why Boston?

Boston is a city built on evolution that has reinvented itself time and time again. It’s the birthplace of revolution, innovation, and transformation — qualities that mirror the evolution of today’s public spaces.

From its historic neighborhoods to its integral public transit system, Boston shows how public spaces grow stronger when they adapt to the needs of diverse communities. It’s a city where tradition and progress coexist, where walkability, design, and civic pride come together to create vibrant, people-centered environments.

There’s no better backdrop for this year’s Connect & Share. Boston embodies the same ongoing evolution Block by Block is embracing — expanding our impact, deepening our purpose, and going all in on growing public spaces for everyone.
